We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our admin team.
We are looking for someone to assist with all aspects of reception and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills and a positive can-do attitude. You will need to have good IT skills and ideally knowledge of MS Office. Previous experience of dealing with the public is essential. If this has been in a GP practice or NHS setting, so much the better. However, full training will be given.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
Receive and make telephone calls
Attend to patients at the front desk
Assist with queries from patients and other medical professionals
Using a computer clinical system to process prescriptions, registrations, booking and amending appointments and other administrative duties
There will also be opportunity for further training on other areas of the role, such as e- referrals, summarising, GP rotas and medical insurance reports.
This is a permanent position, hours/working days to be agreed. Shifts will vary between 8.00am-6.30pm. We are looking for a full time candidate, although part time hours will be considered.
