Several clinics and services are listed below. It is important that if you are unable to attend for any reason you inform the surgery as soon as possible.
First Contact Practitioner (Physiotherapist) Our FCP’s are physiotherapists with enhanced skills in the assessment and diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. To book an appointment to be seen by our FCP’s, call the surgery on 01223 364116 or if you have online services then book an appointment HERE
Family Planning is provided within normal surgery hours and includes advice on the pill, caps, coils and emergency contraception.
Immunisations for children will be carried out in our practice nurse clinics. Once you receive notification that your child’s vaccination is due simple ring the surgery for an appointment to see the Practice Nurse. Please ensure you let the surgery know whether your child will require an alternative vaccine as per the following guidance. Vaccines and porcine gelatine – GOV.UK. Travel Immunisations are planned and given by the Practice Nurses. Please allow at least 6 weeks before travelling. There is further information about this on our travel page
Flu Clinics are available from the end of September/October for anyone aged over 65 or under 65 on medical advice. Please ask at Reception.
Child Health Clinics are run by the Health Visiting Team. These are run throughout the week within the community. For more information please contact your health visitor.
They offer advice about child health, development and behaviour. Your child can be weighed and you are able to meet other parents. Routine checks by the doctor are carried out in normal surgery time.
Minor Surgery Procedures are performed in the practice. Please discuss this with your doctor.
The Midwife holds clinics every Wednesday. They see expectant mothers during pregnancy and at home after delivery. They also offer relaxation and parentcraft classes.
