Doctors

All patients have a named GP and although we do not run rigid personal lists, we encourage patients where possible to see one doctor, as we think it is best for both patient and doctor and provides a continuity of care. If your own doctor is not available then we will offer you an appointment with another doctor. If you do not know the name of your GP, please ask when you next call or visit the practice.

All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver GP services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working at York Street Medical Practice in the last financial year was £73,100 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 0 full time GPs, 9 part time GPs and 0 locum GPs who worked in the Practice for more than six months.
